The comforter, bed skirt and shams are quality made with thick solid piping on the edges of the comforter and shams. The jacquard fabric on the comforter and shams is tightly woven yet not so tight that any little snag will show. Stitching throughout is very well done. The shams have quality material on the non-facing side and have a French slit to put the pillow into the sham. Also, the comforter has sewn circles to help keep the filling in place. She further disclosed that she had a horrible experience with lesser quality material on bed skirts ripping but not with this bed skirt. The material on the part that goes under the mattress is regular material, not thick paper-like ‘fabric’ of lesser quality sets. Instead, the material is thick and sturdy which holds up to the wrestling it takes to get it under the mattress. Additionally, the comforter has a green tone to it but surprisingly it has a definite golden tone. It shines in a subtle way that light up the room. The skirt is very green and also has a shine. The sharp creases on the skirt are pretty and different from the standard fold or flat look of most skirts. Furthermore, the floral design is a not an ‘in your face’ floral design. She exclaimed that she like flowers but do not want them to be the main focus in the bedroom. She expects that this set to last for many years.
